Save room around the office, maximize power outlet space, and extend the length of your bulky power cords. This flat extension cord lets you do all three.
Plug in your power cord flat against the wall
The low-profile extension cord has a right-angled NEMA 5-15 plug that sits flat against the wall. This lets you save clearance room when plugging in your device behind a cabinet, desk or other piece of furniture. You no longer need to push up against the plug so that your furniture isn’t sticking off the wall. This avoids putting strain on the plug and protects it from damage. You can use it to extend any NEMA 5-15 power cord (computer, TV, office lamp, etc.) that needs to be plugged into a power outlet located behind a piece of furniture.
Free up unused outlets and replace bulky power plugs
The right-angle power cord also lets you maximize the space on your power strip, surge protector or wall outlet. Since the plug sits to the right of the outlet, the outlet below it or above it isn’t blocked which comes in handy when you have to plug in a device with a large, bulky power cord. You can plug the bulky power cord into the receptacle of the extension cord and plug the right-angled plug into the outlet, freeing up another outlet that would have otherwise been blocked.
PAC101R1 is backed by a StarTech.com lifetime warranty for guaranteed reliability.

Plug doesn’t match the picture12/18/2020 10:32:50 AM
Pros: Works like a charm!
Cons: Picture does not match the plug, it’s actually a little bit wider.
Overall Review: Was ideal to fit thinly between the outlet and my bed frame– it’s such a slight difference I just accepted it. But I think it’s important to show the picture of the exact items being ordered.
Space heater extension12/11/2012 12:32:29 PM
Pros: Quality and price
Cons: None
Overall Review: It works. Using this with a 1300 watt space heater. 14 AWG is capable of 15 AMP and 1800 watts max. In my case, bigger is better just to be safe.

Exactly what I needed4/17/2021 11:12:56 AM
Pros: I have a U9 Rack with a limited amount of depth and these cords are the only way I can install my 1500 Watt CyberPower UPS. The receptacles are close together and this was the only low profile short cord that doesn’t block the next outlet.
Overall Review: Newegg is dependable and quick, I received my order in just a few days. I will always recommend Newegg for computer components they are definitely one of my go to companies.

Quality cord, no problems5/30/2020 4:37:03 PM
Overall Review: Handy to resolve problems with outlets behind furniture. I’d recommend always buying over-provisioned power cords relative to the load to minimize problems…
