Pros: The design of the heatsinks. 2=8GB. DDR3 1866. CAS 9. Lower profile heatsinks than most. Lower price than most at this speed. Makes me happy.
Cons: heatsinks could be a few mm shorter, but this not a legit con.
Overall Review: Ran at CL9-9-9-26 1.5v fine through memtest. Will see what more I can get out of them later on.
Description says the heatsinks are designed to look like a gun but I don’t really see it, they just look sleek and cool. Heatsinks are still a tad bit too high. If you have a board with slots too close to your CPU cooler they more than likely won’t fit, like when using a CM 212. Lucky with the board I’m using at the moment they just make it. If only 2 sticks you can still switch to slot 24 instead.
People got to realize before installing new memory: the fastest I’ve ever seen a motherboard default to is 1600. You almost always have to input default timings yourself in the BIOS.

Pros: Excellent build quality, heat spreader is tough and has a very wicked look to it.
XMP support. Was utterly trivial to take this RAM up to 1866MHz (as various other reviews have noted, this ram will only run at 1600 without an OC).
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Bought two kits, all four sticks worked absolutely perfectly right out of the box, and are still going strong a year later.

Pros: As usual, G. Skill makes an excellent product. After new build assembly, booted to BIOS, set memory to XMS Profile 1 on the Gigabyte Z77 board with I7 3770 processor. It automatically set the memory to 1866Mhz 9-10-9-28…done deal! Scores 7.9 WEI with no MemTest86+ errors.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Before people leave 1 egg reviews, they should learn how to set their BIOS properly. I’ve installed G. Skill in over 40 computers and haven’t ever had anyone call me about memory failure.

Pros: Great Ram for the money simply run xmp profile and it sets it up automatically. Color for sinks go well with my black build

Pros: G. SKILL is a pro. GSkill has been a great stick of Ram for years and this is no different. Low Voltage needs.
Cons: Not the Prettiest Girl on the Block.

Pros: Works as advertised. Got it on sale for $70.

Overall Review: In 2007 I built my first computer and paid $300 for 2 1GB sticks of Corsair Dominator 1066 RAM. Everything was WAY more expensive then. I now have this installed in an ASUS Z87-Pro (V Edition) motherboard with an i5 4670K and it is able to run at 1866 with the processor overclocked to 4.4GHz. I bumped the voltage on this RAM from 1.5 to 1.52 to keep it stable but it handles that without breaking a sweat. I’ve bought dozens of G-Skill kits between building machines for work and upgrading home PCs and not a single one has ever been bad in any way. The oldest ones are 5 years+ and still chugging away like new!

AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz APU
I’ve had no lockups or BSOD errors. this build is on my TV so it’s on most of the time and I’ve had no problems. Not the fastest system but it works well and it does it at a great price.
