With an 8MB cache buffer on a drive rotating at 5400RPM, it has a seek time of only 12ms, with an average latency of only 5.55ms. The SoftSonic Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) motor makes it a virtually silent drive, helping to reduce vibration and heat output. It has a much lower power consumption when compared with the traditional 3.5-inch hard drives.

Pros: Works perfectly. Very quiet.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: RMA’d first unit (see previous review) due to problems. This unit works perfectly; it partitioned and formatted immediately with zero trouble. Too bad the first one didn’t do so well.

Pros: Quite, decent speed.

Cons: Not a 7200 RPM drive, but I knew that when buying.

Overall Review: 60gb is a marketing term. It means 60*10^9. 60 real GB would be 60*2^30.
