Overall Review: Asrock taichi z370 8700k cpu this ram runs at the rated speeds on the first try, I’ve had 16gb at 4266 for 7 months and no complaints.

Pros: ddr4266 @1.42v @ cl18 or 19, 1.4v just wasn’t stable either way. The heat spreaders are the best i’ve seen. It’s heavier and darker than the other set of trident z ddr3600 b-die i ordered last year. 35C full load at 1.42v.

VCCIO/SA at 1.12v on a taichi z390

Cons: none

Pros: Good and easy to OC
Low temps (29-33C) depending on load

Cons: Couldn’t get spec to run on my mobo’s
XMP profile did two different things on two different mother boards – either way it did not work and I had to manually setup

Overall Review: My cheaper ASRock Z370 Pro4 OCs the BCLK when I use the XMP. I had to manually set and run it at the XMP profile settings (except it needed 1.42v or it would not boot).

XMP Profile: 19-19-19-39-4266 1.42v @8.90764181ns – Scored 2.04 on SiSoftware Sandra Lite

The power delivery was not that impressive on that board and it caused problems with the CPU OC, so I used this on my MSI MEG Z390 ACE. Both used the same 9600k processor. On the ACE I could get it to run at lower latencies at higher frequencies, but still needed 1.42v. My guess is the stability came from the power delivery of the motherboard being far superior. However, I was surprised that no matter what values, 4200+ would ALWAYS crash immediately on Windows boot. This makes me thinks the board has a limitation.

The best stable values (scoring better than XMP) I benched at are:

16-16-16-35-3900 1.42v with latency @ 8.205128205ns – Scored 2.14 on SiSoftware Sandra Lite
17-17-17-37-4133 1.42v with latency @ 8.226469877ns – – Scored 2.14 on SiSoftware Sandra Lite

Memtest86 came out error free after 4 passes for these settings and the XMP profile.

I’m quite happy with this RAM. I had Trident before and was impressed by the OC performance, so that’s why I decided to try the faster RAM this time around. Good job G. Skill.

Pros: Matched this RAM with an Asrock Z370 Tiachi MB and an I7 8700K CPU, OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE!
Easy to install
Very fast

Cons: Sticks out from the motherboard more than some other modules. It got in the way of my liquid cooler, luckily I was able to rig the cooler to fit. Probably not a problem with many mid-towers, definitly would not be an issue with a full tower.

Overall Review: Definitly would recommend this.

Pros: compatible with ga ax370 gaming 7 bios preset for 3999/4000

seems to stay cool

paired with a fast m.2 at 4GhZ you get lighting load times. windows doesnt even load screen. it just blinls most of the time. same with bios post.

Overall Review: no regrets. using with ryzen 1800x and a vega 64

Pros: I guess working flawlessly straight out from the packaging was great and not some product arriving DOA.

Cons: I am only able to squeeze 4000mhz out from the 32gb I’ve purchased from Newegg. Wasn’t able to get it to work at 4266mhz despite enabling XMP, perhaps the reason being my cpu/power supply or motherboard.

Overall Review: – These rams works great but for anyone thinking of running 4266mhz, I would advice to reconsider as many reviews did mentioned 4266mhz isn’t so easy to achieve.
