Pros: This kit was good at first, until gskill/intel/microsoft started to artificially segment performance.

Cons: Owned this kit since December. Used only with z490 apex xii motherboard with 10850k

This kit did 16-17-17-37-2T@4500mhz with 1.55v and 1.3v sa/io. 62/62/63/63 7/7/8/8 rtls/iols. Tested stable in 9 hours p95 large ffts fma3, TM5 extreme and LinX.

As soon as I posted a screenshot online, rtls/iols were completely blocked from training. Either gskill/intel/microsoft is responsible for this artificial segmentation.

After 62/62/63/63 7/7/8/8 was blocked, I got 61/61/62/62 7/7/7/7 stable at 1.55v vdimm and 1.35v sa/io in all the same tests. The same day gskill/intel/microsoft wrote to my bios or spd on the sticks and blocked these rtls/iols from ever training again.

Gskill/Intel/Microsoft effectively write to enduser’s bios and/or ram spd to artificially segmented performance and won’t let the end user clock these any higher than 4400, even after the end user achieved stability at a higher frequency. They altered my property without my consent.

Avoid at all costs, Gkill/intel/microsoft are now artificially segmenting performance and won’t let the end users clock the sticks up past rated speed anymore. Was a gskill customer for about 9 or 10 years. Never again.

Overall Review: Avoid do not buy.

We can surely help with any issue if you contact us directly for assistance. If nothing seems to work well at all, check to see if you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard. Slot two and four away from the CPU should be populated. Test each module individually in the second slot to see if one performs differently. If using a G.Skill QVL certified motherboard and capable CPU, you should have no problem reaching the rated specifications and overclocking. By using a combination not listed, XMP Profile and the rated specifications can not be expected, let alone OC.
