Pros: Lifetime warranty
The second one I got worked perfectly and after I change the settings in the bios to 1600 MHz and changed the timing (As these settings are picked up by default) it ran as expected.

Cons: Unfortunately the first one didn’t work out of the box as it cause my system to freeze on POST and had to be RMA’d.

Not a very good CAS latency for 1600 MHz ram especially considering the price.

+ Crucial is very helpful at solving problems if it isn’t working
+ Newegg has a straightforward RMA process

Cons: If you have a Dell OptiPlex 380, 780, or 980 system, this RAM will not work; you need the lower-density version that lacks the J at the end of the model number. Newer systems do not have this problem; I tested it in an OptiPlex 3010, where it worked fine. This will also apply to other manufacturers, of course; the problem lies with the chipset, and I’d expect any Intel G41, Q45, or Q57 motherboard to have problems with this RAM.

Overall Review: I could have saved myself a lot of effort if I had checked Crucial’s compatibility information more carefully.

Pros: I found this more cost effective than many 2x4gb sets that were sold on Newegg at the time of purchase, I got 2 of these to make an 8GB setup.

Overall Review: Used this for an Intel Pentium G3258 on an MSI H81 motherboard, the moment I slapped the sticks of ram in I have not had a single issue, works like it is supposed to.
